My Pet Wasp Jasper.....

By Ade_Osman
Fast running out of things to post because of my nursing and housewifely duties I'm having to do while Suzie's still getting back on her feet, so please excuse the fact I've gone with another wasp image. This time I wanted to try and emphasis the details of compound eyes of this wee beastie. Version two same thing but from another angle. Both images were made using 25 individual shots @ x2-3 magnification stacked and layered using Zerene and then cleaned up using Photoshop/PSPro X4. Any thoughts or preferences most welcome, thanks for looking in....

They do say the pets look like their owners! I hope this is not the case here Ade, excellent captures.

Superb detail and love everything about this lens Ade. Have you thought about using a reflector to throw more light back into the eyes and shadows as the wasp looks to be a very co-operative model

Supreme amount of detail captured in these fine macro images, Ade: quite astounding when you see detail like this that I for one could never see with the naked eye.
