Simon Spade

By Adobecs
I have not uploaded for a while, thought I would put some of my Uni coursework images on the site. This one I was after the Sam Spade detective look, a bit moody. I have split toned it in Lightroom. I also took this image in film format and printed it large in the darkroom and it came out quite well. Hope you like, any comments welcome.

Very well set up although I am not sure about the treatment. What does it look like in black and white?

Excellent work. And in avoiding the cliche of sepia, the blue from the split tone adds a nice atmosphere

Nice balance in the shot, and the split toning looks great. Cheers, Andrew.

Like the treatment. The split toning makes all the difference in this simple but well thought out image.
Excellent work
