Swirl

Set out last Saturday before light to photo around Burbage at sunrise, as always it was pi**ing down. So nipped to Padley, always a good fall back when weathers bad. Plus the brook was full of water due to all of the rain, and a good peaty colour. I like the lines that the bubbles make on this photo, hence the reason for the upload. Any views and votes appreciated.
Thanks,
Pat.

that damn rain is why we always end up in Padley or burbage brook too, I know this rock well and have a very similar shot on my HD but i love the colour you have captured in the foreground, and the streaking is great.

Excellent shot. If you go to Blea Tarn in November there may be snow on the peeks

Good to meet you on Saturday afternoon. Had a similar idea with bubble trails at Goyt Stock Falls earlier this year.
I might have taken a second shot exposed for the light areas in the b/g and combined the two.
