Two more excellent compositions in stunning detail. I very much like the inclusion of the tiny flowers in V1 as a contrast in character and colour to the sky and a suggestion of soft warmth in contrast to the rock.

Like V1 very much, though eye tends to go to the small patch of white center frame - wee bit of subtle cloning would fix.
Minor point though, excellent image.

V1 works best for me. You've lost that crashing wave that I enjoyed, but you have a very satisfying triangle of interest - upright rock, lighthouse and thrift. And the thrift is definitely the star.

Interesting to read the remarks of others: in my opinion these two images and your last one are amongst the very best you have posted, Adrian. Excellent land/seascapes, well composed and very atmospheric with those moody threatening greyish skies.

Well, my eye of course, didn't trouble to spot that little bit of white as it went straight to the Thrift on the rocks!! Bet you aren't at all suprised? V1 for me. It seems so beautifully composed, but I love the texture of the furry rocks in V2 also. You do capture such beautiful, atmospheric scenes of your local area!

Two nice scenes, Adrian! Rather moody and threatening looking! I prefer the perspective of the 1st image.....and the little pink flowers! Smile
