While I'm no fan of HDR I have to admit that these both are excellent There's the painter in V1 and the lighting gantry in V2 as the only reminders that the 19th century is past; unless one looks very close. Superb detail throughout.

Two excellent presentations, Adrian, the subject working so well in B and W. I'm afraid I know nothing about HDR so cannot comment on that side of things. All I can say is that there is a good range of tones and contrast. Cannot really choose between the two, so I guess it has to be 1/2 vote to each.

In general I have always disliked HDR but I reckon that's because some people don't use it correctly. Can't say that of you and these 2 cracking images!

Very photogenic place Adrian, and the HDR brings out a lot of detail and really fine mono conversion in both version. They're the kind of images you want to hang on your wall.
