  • Two in One

Yellow one looks like an Achillea, part of the yarrow family. A magnet for bees. Purple one is Acanthus or Bears Breeches. It's a thug with sharp jaggy leaves & spreads underground runners everywhere.

  • Great Witley Blues

you beat me to it! Our Agapanthus are the best ever this year & I was out photographing them yesterday. Was going to post some pix today, but yours' are better.

  • Cutting Edge

You obviously know the drill for getting a good picture.
I always find these places fascinating & full of photographic potential.

  • The Oil Can

I've still got one of those cans!
I like this one, it shows an engineering tool in it's context & is well lit.
My only slight crit is the white writing top right. I would prefer it to be either cloned out completely or a slight change in camera position so that it is all in the frame. Cutting off the top of the letters jars a bit.

  • Pyramidal Orchid

Not a very common orchid to see. I particularly like the single strand of spiders web and the insects.

  • Puffed Up

All fluffed up against the cold winds we're having.
