Lesser Twayblade orchid

By adrian_w
Neottia cordata or lesser twayblade. Nationally quite a rare orchid although reasonably common in Scotland & NW England.
Normally found in peat bogs or damp woodland and only grows a few centimetres in height so it is very difficult to find.
There is a small colony in a park near Glasgow, we were taken there by the Orchid specialist from the Botanic Gardens.
