I had a fantastic experience on Saturday photographing these beautiful birds from a boat at Grassholm Island, West Wales UK.

There were apparently over 39,000 breeding pairs crammed onto that tiny rock about 11 miles off the coast, I didn't count them myself though lol.

The boat sped along at 35 knots through choppy seas so it was worth going just for the ride, lots of sea spray everywhere.

This is just about full frame, I just rotated it slightly and cropped off the uneven edges.
