Beautiful shot
Where was this taken? - the water is so calm or was this effect from a slow shutter speed.

Do you realise that you're trespassing on my fishing grounds there? lol.
It's a magical place, infact, the whole of the Gower is.
Well done.

Cracking image. There's a real feeling of stillness and peacefulness in this shot. Love the colours too.

Quite beautiful, Adrian. I'm interested to know where the digmanip bit comes in but that won't alter what a stunning image this is. Well done, mate Smile

Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to comment.

Mike: I wasn't sure which category to post this one to. Went for this one because I had used 'channel mixer', selective colour' and 'curves' on this shot, which is far more than I would usually use to enhance a photo. Usually would just use a digital velvia action.

Thanks for that, Adrian and for your recent kind words on my efforts. It's tough isn't it... knowing how far to go when adjusting images. I guess ideas will always differ but I must say that I tend to go the whole hog because I don't yet take photographs as good as this.

I tend to use a rule of thumb that if I distort or add anything to an image, then it's manipulated. If it's level or tonal adjustment, I regard these as things that I could have done in camera so classify it as not necessarily manipulated.

Anyway, excuse the ramblings. All the best Smile
