Pleiades (M45)

Widefield shot of Pleiades, taken during the perseids meteor shower - more of a trickle really - I realised the star cluster presented a much nicer photo opportunity Wink

D3100 / 135mm soligor m42 lens, several 2min exposures stacked in Deepskystacker. (no calibration frames)

Its what they call seven sisters, you can see it with naked eyes as a speckle of stars - rising in the east before dawn at the moment. But through binoculars it looks better. The pic was using the 55-200mm all the way zoomed.

Just realised the lens wasn't the nikkor stated, but the 135mm soligor - a cheap ebay find.
