Facing the sunset

By aeras
I tried several time to shot this pier with the sun setting exactly opposite , and this was during June and July , but the sun was always crystal clear. I had my chance though , later in August , when the weather changed a bit and some clouds appeared on the horizon , but the setting sun shifted more and more to the right . Paphos is a very promising town and this area is known for its sunsets and beautiful skies. Nikon D800 with Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 @ f/18 with Nisi 10 stop plus Nisi 3 stop ND soft grad .Exposure 58 seconds; f/18; ISO 100
A single RAW capture with basic post process. Additionally a bright luminosity mask was added as a selection to a curves adjustment layer to tame the highlights in the sky , and an additional S curve adjustment layer with a mid tones luminosity mask as selection was added to add some "pop" to the image .
