Under the Galaxy II

By aeras
No clouds and with the moon high in the sky until the end of the month not much to shoot ! I was looking through my files and found this one though.
It was captured last year in August at 3 o'clock in the morning and is the second frame that I am uploading from that day. The previous one is in portrait format while this one is in landscape. This was one of my first Milky way selfies and the composition is ,in my opinion , lacking ( I would prefer the Milky way more to the right) but I was too excited to notice anything !! A single RAW file with Nikon D800 set on the ground and tripped with a remote.
The place is not easily accessible with a car so the bike serve me also as a means to transport me there Smile Exposure with the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 was f/2.8 30 seconds at ISO 3200. The wind was so strong that it was almost impossible to stay put for the 30 seconds Smile this explains the blurry me !!Smile))
Basic PP except that the rocks and figure were darkened with a curves adjustment layer.

(And it's something quite peculiar
Something shimmering and white
It leads you here, despite your destination
