A couple of thoughts, though this is definitely not my territory...
It seems as if the plate is angled to the left, rather than levelled, which unsettles my eye slightly. And the shadow under the plate maybe needs a bit more breathing space.
But the arrangement and lighting are delightful: unobtrusive and rather beautiful.

You are correct on both accounts, John. I totally agree that the crop may be too tight for the entire plate. I guess symmetry in this type of imagery is very important. I'll be more cognizant of that in the future. Thank you for lending your critical eye(s) and sharing your expertise.
