Hi everyone,

Well I thought it was about time I updated my profile. I've been into photography now for around 4yrs now and am still addicted, although don't make enough time for it.

I have noticed a considerable improvement in both composition and quality of my photos. There are always going to be those that, to the general photographic community, don't resonate. These are still some of my favourites, more because of the feeling they conjure up in me rather than others. Still beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that Smile

Best Regards

Andy

@banehawi & @pink - Thank you very much for the user awards, chuffed to bits Smile

I did try this in mono too and the range of tones didn't feel like they worked. Be my guest if you'd like to do a mod.

Funnily enough, that was the basis on which the guy agreed to let me photograph him Wink

    Thank you all Smile

@tonyguitar - it does indeed look very similar to my Gretsch 6120 but without the cut away. It had an incredibly nice sound to it, more like a jazz guitar.

@banehawi - thanks for the mod, I get what you mean, I toyed with where to crop for ages. There is actually more space to the right in the original. I might relook at it and mod it to see.

@Anthony - Would have been lovely wouldn't it, unfortunately there were a couple of hundred people in the way most of the time. In the original shot, just below his feet are a load of people's heads, Didn't think that would have looked right.

@Chensuriashi - Thank you very much. Smile

Thank you Brian, unfortunately the size has somewhat messed up on upload so it's not as big as I'd like Sad

Thank you all for the great comments, I think I may be hanging this on my wall Smile

@MrsWoolyBill - I totally get what you say and why. I probably shouldn't have mentioned the golden light as that's not the effect I had in my head. I wanted to create a vintage feel but with the sunset colours of pinks and purples. The original shot has golden tones but there is not enough range and it looks quite uninspiring. Happy to upload if you want to try a mod on it Smile

I haven't tried whistling, now added to the list of things to try Smile

They do seem to be wary of my dog though so that kinda works. I am still on a mission to capture all of them separated and looking at me! Tongue
