Black-crowned finch-lark

These birds come to Saudi Arabia in the hottest part of the year to breed. They amaze me by how much heat they can stand. It was in the high 40's deg C when I took this picture.

This is really different. A first sighting for me in remote British Columbia. What a super individual this work of feathers is! Another example of what seems to be '' by human design ''. Wow!! TG
