A gorgeous capture, the details are fantastic. I like the unusual format, but I wonder if perhaps the butterfly is a little too tight in the frame. Just a personal thing, and probably just me! Smile

I would agree with Karen, a tad too tightly cropped, but an excellent image. Carol

Nice idea for this letterbox format but the butterfly does look a bit cramped.

Glad I read Karen's comment.I did not ''see'' the butterfly.I thought it was part of the flower !!

Superbly captured Alan, I find the females slightly easier to photograph than the males although they are harder to spot
