The End

By Alan_Baseley
Another set taken with the snow on the ground.
A 5 exposure HDR tonemapped and then tweaked.

V1 A mono variant
V2 Tonemapped HDR tweaked in Camera Raw
V3 Tonemapped HDR tweaked in Topaz

Thanks to Brian (bricurtis) for the fine mod to yesterday's upload

V1 for me, the great lines show off more, and there is less distraction of the sun flare.

Not an easy choice but I think V1 & V2 work best. the question "Why?" strikes me, but re your images, rather why on earth did they stop the line in what appears to be the middle of nowhere?

Ann, the line is now (post Beeching) only a long siding that serves a cement distribution depot and an aggregate distribtion yard,

A trio of super variants. The mono works best for me. Fabulous light, shadows and snow textures.

Interesting p/p, certainly for me camera RAW in CS5 is a powerful editing suite on its own, and looking at these fine images you have been able recover detail in both RAW and HDR, well done..
