Twywell 2012 No 46

By tomcat
Spotted this pair of Small Skippers Thymelicus sylvestris, during an early morning stroll around Twywell.

First time out with the camera this week. The 140 mile daily round trip to work and back, is beginning to take it's toll.
I need more Z's to keep up with things.
Also there has been numerous hold ups and road closures, on my return journey. The worst of which was Thursday, when the A14 was closed, due to an unfortunate trucker losing his lifeSad
I might have been delayed, but at least I still arrived home unscathed.

All being well, I start a new site in September, only 15 minutes away from homeGrin

I will try and catch up with things over the weekendSmile

Cracking image here Adrian......

You can come down here if you like, I'm up to my armpits in over 400 moths from last night......Starting shooting them this morning and I'm only half way thru them all.....Just having a breather then it's back to the grindstone. Last nights catch was the best ever though, so I'm well happy!

A nice conversation piece here, Adrian: I wonder what they have to say to each other.
As ever, so immaculately captured and presented.
That's one heck of a commute you have to face daily......would wear me out for sure.
Ronnie.

Great shot, Adrian. I don't envy you using the A14 daily - my son lives in Norfolk and was in Addenbrookes hospital for just over a year and we had to use that awful road every day for weeks!!!!

Charming little duo face to face, Adrian, almost mirrored, wonder what they are saying to each other, maybe chatting about the weather?
