Dunraven Delight

By Alan_Coles
At 6.30pm it was raining, it was grey, it was oriible - two of my mates went home, my other mate suggested we follow their lead but I was hoping the forecast was for once going to be right...a light on the horizon I said - ye, but thats over on the N Devon coast says my mate - but its going to come this way says I - have faith. Got out of the car, it was still raining but I could see patches of light on the wet sand, I going down says I. The best time was probably after the sun went down but it was none too shabby before either Smile

Worth waiting for the image. No pain no gain. For lots of images you have to wait for a long. I like the composition and ofcourse the lighting of this beautiful landscape.

Well, who has the last laugh now. Your mates are probably feeling very sorry because this is quite beautiful. The round rock with the shadow seems to be enjoying the view in front of him too........Sandy

Great shot. I'm from that area, but currently live abroad. It's nice to see a bit of home now and again.

That's lovely, Alan. You could visit a hundred times at sunset and not get this combination of sand, rock and light. Outstanding. Well done!
