Jack Attack Series I

By Alan_Coles
Apologies to imagephotographics for deleting my earlier upload.

Yesterday my youngest lad asked me to take some images of him running and tumbling over some walls n stuff - he has been free running for about 6 months. I suggested we went somewhere a little different where we could practice without any interference - this type of stuff is new to me. So we went over the moors and found some limestone outcrops which he was able to do some running and flips / somersaults off...it wasn't ideal as the rocks are quite uneven and probably a bit more risky than he is used to - saying that at least there wasw some grass about not like the urban places he normally messes about in. He goes to a proper free running gym a few times a week as well.
He wanted something into the sun (I think there are shots he has seen on website etc) but these are very difficult to expose for but a few have turned out to his liking so hopefully I will share some with you this week. It was freezing up on the moors and I was cold with my jacket on so he must have been freezing!

Btw...it was a great afternoon to be up the moors as the views were fab.

cool set (try to put the right picture on the left (maybe), cause its "falling out of the frame" when the horizon is going up in a last pic)

Three fantastic images - never heard of this activity before; sounds very energetic and "risky."

superb shots - your son either brave or foolish as I feel this can be a dangerous sport on uneven ground but thankfully all is well and you can breathe freely again, great stuff but something I would not recommend unless well practised which he obviously IS - no offence meant but you will hopefully understand my sentiments

These are really good Al. You appear to have captured the exposure just right, and putting all 3 up is a great idea. I like the angle on V3. Well done to Jack too!!

Interesting set. Why did you decide not to put them up individually? It would have been good to see them larger - especially 1 and 3.

Thanks both I have put a mod of V3 up today.

No reason for putting them up like this just had a few shots and thought the look suited the shots.
