Leucistic Red Kite

By Alan_Coles
Had a nice day out with the wife last week...ended up at Elan Valley and before heading for a meal I had 45 mins stopover in Gigrin. There was a couple of White (Leucistic) Red Kites hanging about and I managed a couple of shots of the one which did not have any tags on.

Thanks for the comments on yesterday's blue tit, much appreciated.

I never seem to have a long enough lens when birds of prey appear, they seem to be there and gone before I can do anything, so well caught my friend.

Great capture Al. The light through the tips of the wing is beautiful and timing is spot on. We were supposed to go there the week before Xmas but weather stopped play! Louise
