Llangattock Escarpment

By Alan_Coles
Took this a few days ago over the Hafod, this was 9am ish....went back there this morning for a sunrise shot but haven't had chance to download the shots yet as I have been to sight a Marmosa's Warbler over the Blorenge...645am and there was approx 200 people on the mountain...I have never seen anything like it! Got to see the bird within 10 seconds of getting out of my car - result! Didn't get any pics though.

Btw...this reminds me of a mini Quiraing.

Lovely burst of light across your image, the best way for me, some dappled light. I can see tha association with the Quiraing, I take it this was a quarry of some sort way back?

One of my favourite places between the Valleys and the Beacons. Lots of history here and plenty to see. Looking forward to a sunrise shot from here later in the year!!

I am surprised this one hasn't got a lot more votes. Stunning scene and capture, with beautiful light and colours.
