of the pics of this tree that i've seen i think this one works the best. the bare earth gives a very simple comp which is enhanced by the strong colours and those clouds. its the slope that adds alot for me.lesley

Hi Ann...

No, the shadow is a pile of trees to my right..the sun was coming directly from behind them. If you look at the 1st image of this I put up you will see the shadow cast by the tree is on the left of the image.

i'm sure i used to pass this tree Alan on the way back from cardiff in the truck,its a perfect candidate for an image .nice spotting mate and well taken Smile
Love the diagonal leading the eye to the tree and that fine shdow.
