Pipedream - The singer

By Alan_Coles
Went out of Friday night and decided to take the camera along to take some pics of a band I see fairly regular, local cover band called Pipedream. This is a new type of stuff for me and to be honest came back with a card full of cack as they say. Took both cameras along, plus flash and 2 lens, 24-105 f5 and a 50m a few shots with the 50m but I really need something faster with a zoom methinks for low light stuff.

Not bad though Al. Movement in the hands and a crisp face. It looks exposed well. I know what you mean though as I had a go at The Point in Cardiff when I saw a AC/DC tribute band!! Big expensive lenses is the way forward!!!

It's a great shot this Alan! Like it alot! Plenty of aggression to in the features to indicate the type of music being played - and with a Power Chord E being used I assume this is Hard Rock!?

I like it - there is so much energy and emotion. Ann

That's come out well. you're talking lots of money for the 'right' lenses, small mortgage. 50mm looks good to me!

A great shot, I would like a new lens too, struggling with my 105mm but the long lens are Soooooo expensive. - gary

This is a cracking live shot Al, think theres more to get out of this. Maybe a tighter crop with a 45 degree angle and blue toned? Smile
Brilliant.....i go to loads of gigs, take thousands of pickys, all discreet of course, but your shot, ace and to the the Gibson LP lit up, really impressed.
