Rocky Mountain Way - The Remix

By Alan_Coles
This is an image I posted about a week ago which I took down after an hour...having had some pointers (thanks Tom) about certain aspects of the image...I have re processed it a little better - I HOPE Wink

Have a nice weekend and my hope is for the Welsh Rugby team to put in a performance a little better than the 5 previous games...oh aye I am taking my youngest to the game and it will be his 1st International.

Lovely composition Al. It really is a photogenic tree and I can't wait to get up there and have a go myself!! I love the way the sky pulls you in different directions. If there was a quibble, it would be the slight halo behind the tree. It looks like you may have masked there and the sky looks a slightly lighter blue than around the tree. But that is me being fussy I guess. I think that the tree in the top left works really well.

I love these shots Alan. You really do seem to capture the bleak harshness of the area and yet maintain the beauty of it all. Spot on.

Nice anchor with the tree, but it's the wall that stars for me, has an influence on the whole image, the sky the fg and makes the composition flow. Nice work my friend.
