The Blackest Day

By Alan_Coles
When you don't work you seem to lose track of the days...when posting yesterday I made a statement about having a tree fest week (mon - fri) thinking it was tueday...doh, was a day behind - must remember I HAVE A DENTISIT APPOINTMENT TODAY! Anyway, will leave a themed week until I am more organised..lol. Here is a landscape shot from my trip up the Sugarloaf last Friday with Morgs n Phil (Mitchy 81).

Title inspired by Joanne Shaw Taylor

Yep - like this lots! Love the diffused light contrasting with the heavy opressive darker greys of the sky here which really packs some atmosphere into the shot. A really good composition with a terrific lead using the foreground feature to 'point' the way to the distant peak! A grand job!

Looks a beauty to me Alan. That really is a fantastic sky in my book and makes it appear as if the heavens are about to drop. Full of life and atmosphere.

I like this Al. Didn't think I'd see a shot as good as this from our trip up there. The moody clouds and simple processing have brought the best out of this.
