Thanks for those that took time to comment on yesterday's nash point and to Billy Goat Gruff for his critique.
Have taken on board some of Bill's advice and today have attempted a mono of nash...this place nicked "The Welsh Sphinx"
Great mono, very dramatic image............Sandy
A fascinating bit of coastline geologically judging by your image, working well in B and W with a good range of tones and contrast: your small aperture and wide angle setting has given excellent detail in all areas, and provided good f/g interest.
I like the converging lines in the foreground and sky.
lovely mono, the sky worked really well.
just caught this on fb, and love it.lesley
That's more like it!
Got one just like this myself!!
Very beautifully done, Al!
Shutter speed just right to add a bit of movement to the clouds, good exposure and looks good in mono.
Nice composition and treatment
Works well in mono Al, great impact.
It looks better in mono and more so than I thought possible but I hesitate to choose between yesterdays and todays
Think you got a better sky than I did!
Been thinking about this shot all day, Al, and decided it needed a gold star!
Amazing coincidence we both managed to upload such similar compositions so close to each other time-wise!
All the best!
Excellent mono Alan
This is really excellent, Alan. Great title too
Excellent mono Alan.
Low angle of capture worked so well here, stunning mono with so much to see.
just fantastic ....nuff said
