A wonderful shot Alan, it makes a nice change from them eating nuts.
Sorry to hear about Tricia's Mum, it sounds as though you have been very busy.
Have a wonderful time abroad and a lovely holiday, you will be missed.
Looking forward to your return and some more of your super images.
Take care. Annette

A fine wildlife image Alan, happy to bring up a well deserved half century for this one. Glad to hear that you are alive and well, hope you have a great time on your travels and you capture lots of colourful and interesting characters, all the best for the festive season and best wishes for 2008, Ed

Definitely a different image to the usual from your good self. An excellent image I might add. Enjoy your break overseas and I shall look forward to your images when you get back. Glad you have finally got all the support you need. It can be very difficult to get it. Thankyou very much for your wishes for the upcoming season and for 2008 and may I to wish you and your family a Happy Xmas and a great 2008. See you next spring.

So much hope that everything you have put in place for Mum works out well and that you can take a well deserved rest with peace of mind. This is the first time I've said it this year, but "Happy Christmas". May you get some time for fun and celebration and also time to reflect on "the reason for the season"
Best wishes

I'm sorry that I missed this one - that seems to be what happens when you take time off!
This is such a sweet image. It was always impossible to pick our figs before either a squirrel or bird got to them first!
Have a safe and wonderful trip, and the best for the holidays to you and your family.

Super capture Alan, have loads of grey fellows in my garden but a mile up the road we have some reds very difficult to get a decent shot, you have caught this well great detail, the squirrel must have recognised you and struck a pose, have a wonderful trip and best wishes to you and your family.

Hello Alan - Sorry to hear about Mum-in-law. I hope everything works out for the good.
This image is shocking! It is a full of life as your "human" kind images. I hope he did not get sick on that fig!! They can be extremely sweet - or bitter depending on where they are planted!
We all miss you!!! I hope Bangkok was a good trip!

You are one of the people on my "favorite" list. Forgive me if I do not make a comment every time I vote on your photos. I am so busy with the flying lately that I just do not have the time to make a sensible comment. This does not mean that I just "click" to give you a vote. Now and then I may surprise you with a written contribution!! Regards.
