Kilve Abstract 3

By alansdottir
O^ with mono variation

Another rock abstract from our visit to Kilve - Andy Hobbs has uploaded a picture of the same pair of rocks, so please go see his too - it's probably better!

For more info about the location, please see Tuesday's upload (24th February)

Thank you for looking - I hope you like these two. C & cs appreciated, as always Smile

Yes. I like these too. V1 is almost mono anyway, but retains that lovely blue tone compared to V2. They do make ideal abstract material when you have the eyes to see.

And the title is just perfect.

I prefer the color, even tho it is nearly mono-- the color adds to the rocks textures!

Both work really well, but I'll go with the color version this time.

Hi Carol

Yep both versions are great and I can't decide between them. Really nice composition - would hang this on my wall!

Another really well observed shot. Against my usual preference, I agree with you on the colour version being better because of the (subtle) blue.
Thanks for you kind comments to Hannah, too.

Fantastic markings on these rocks. I like V1 best, don't know why.

I surprised myself, I prefer V2, it seems to have more texture.
So glad to be back,
Pamela.
