Had a great weekend on the "Anglesey in Autumn meet".....although the weather was naughty.....we had a great time and lots to photograph in the slate museum. This chap just happened to be a tourist there...and I asked if I could do his portrait....So thanks again John.

I do have a colour version Alarm Bell Dave Tongue but thought I would give the mono an airing first.

Edited and converted in PS.

C&C welcome..

Thanks for stopping by.. Smile

Llarge has Llots and Llots of Llovely,Llovely detail

~Alley~

P.S Thanks Goggz for being on reflector duty Smile

Colour could work well, too, but this is excellent in black and white. Good, strong eye contact, pin sharp and lots of great textures and shapes in the background. Handsome chap, too. I bet he gets the girl at the end of the movie.

Blimey but I can see why you chased after him now, you brazen hussey.

Superlatives are required here, and even my colour besotted eyes think this looks smashing in BW. Top-notch PP work Alley.

So this was tripod mounted, just window light and Goggz on reflector? No fill in flash or anything. And 50mm rather than 18-200 ... is that just for the low light?

Wow Ms Catz! We all laughed when you shot out of the cafe like a rat up a drainpipe, but my God, your eagle eyes had spotted a winner. This guy just looks so natural in the surroundings, ( He's almost as handsome as I was at his age!) & those braces are a real bonus. I'm not normally a great fan of mono but here it suits the shot perfectly.

P.S A.B.D: Yes tripod mounted,50mm lens,window light and a reflector held by the Goggz.That 50mm lens was an excellent buy....about £79 squids I think,Its a 1.8 so good for low light Smile
