Technically this is below the standard of some of the wonderful EPZ photographers, but people who know me know I like to use my photos for sharing information. That is why I have been giving kingfisher talks for nearly 10 years

The kingfishers are at their most busy time, feeding babies. Soon the young will fledge and it will be boring sitting on eggs time. The pictured male is spinning the fish so the head is facing out, enabling him take it to the nest for his offspring.
