My Favourite...

By albi
Barn Owl image from this year.. I had a good winter with the Barn Owls and my last visit to the site produced my best images to date.

I've spent many years in the pursuit of this image and it's such a great feeling when it finally happens.. Smile

Thanks for looking...

I'm not sure if exist a better word for this image then "PERFECT'' - under all aspects of photography. Composition - excellent , superb framed, Colours are in the wanderful tones of gold. The light falling in a very special way on the subject. And finally the DOF is absolutelly professional. Brilliant overall - Top class image. Special congratulations from me.

P.S. I'm so sorry for the little mouse - very unlucky.

Congratulations on the capture. Truly a superb shot, to catch it with a kill is indeed a good feeling I am sure. Never having seen one in the wild, (apart from a brief flash) I am totally envious.
