I was walking home after yet again dropping my car at the repair shop. Luckily for me, I only live a block or two from there because it's become my second home. An old brick building with the Art Deco style of the thirties is on my way home. The window frames were all painted last week. I noticed right away that this was a second rate job. Paint splatter was everywhere. Nobody used a drop cloth, or bothered to clean up anything. If it was any worse, I'd suspect it was a government job. I stopped and shot of a lot of the splatters. I played around with them on Picasa, and came up with a few decent abstract images. If anyone asks me about them, I'll describe how artists must suffer to create their art. If these people actually believe me, I might run for political office. A liar like me needs to be with his own kind.
