What was the premise behind the blue? She has very pretty blue eyes, but these colors almost mute the blue of her eyes. I think a contrasting color would have pulled the viewer more into her eyes, making it a stronger picture. If you can pull a viewer into the eyes and have them pause there, it is a powerful connection to the subject.

the shot was taken for a college assignment, the model actually has green eyes, the lipstick and eye colour was added with photoshop to match the feathers and silks, you would find that the eyes, in fact the whole image is sharper and more vibrant in hi-rez but thanks for your comment it is much appreciated.
