WOW Grin

You want more?

ok, its fab lol it arrived about half 4 yesterday evening, only took about 2 hours to fully charge up, could not wait to put it through its paces in an erratic session with the camera, getting to grips with its close up capabilities, dabbling in the scene modes, checking out the noise, even trying out the HD video.

My old friend the 350D has been around since 2005 and digital camera technology has come a very long way since then, a very long way indeed it appears! The 350D now feels like one of those brick sized mobile phones from the eighties!

Must mention Auto mode, or Snapshot mode, it is incredible!

I always prefer to set my camera manually, makes perfect sense doesn't it? Set the Leica on Snapshot mode and it does magical things, magical! Just fannying about with my camera last night in a room with blue LED's, 2 household table lamps, and candles was enough to show me what the V-Lux 3 can do, incredible! At the moment my manually taken images do not match but i will get them looking as close as i can to the Snapshot mode if i can.

Not really tried the scene modes fully but there are a dozen or so, with many more sub scenes in each scene to choose from.

As luck would have it, wrk rang today to tell me i am not needed as there is little happening there today, so i shall venture outside shortly with camera and renewed enthusiasm Grin

In short, for 400 i could have done far worse. For 400 you get a lot of tech for your pound, i know i have barely scratched the surface of this camera yet but thats where the fun begins isn't it Wink
