At Peckover House

By AlexandraSD
I bought a few new outfits recently, and this outfit i knew would work well somewhere a bit more upmarket than my usual dark alleyways that im finding right now.

Walking along North Brink, which has been described as "one of the finest Georgian streets in England", eventually I came to Peckover House. It has wrought iron railings and gate at the entrance, i pushed the gate and to my utter delight, it swung open!

You know me, I dont wait for an invite, so off i went to set up and take some photos, not many, but i didnt need to, i knew i got some great images right there and then.

Had it rained that nigh, the images would have been totally different, probably not even at the Brink, but the rain stayed away and i made the most of the dry conditions that night.

4 in the morning! I hope you didn't wake the residents with strange bright lights shining through their windows!!! Grin

Classy image, nice one.

Tell the truth, Lexi...this is you outside your place after a night out...
Love the squiggly shadow up the steps.

haha truth, this is now a national trust property, so no overnight residents, i was very quiet and very quick, like a photography ninja, in and out before found out Smile plus i review the images without moving so i know exactly what i have, as long as focus hits, only had one miss focus all night!

As uncanny as this sounds, i did live just 3 doors down about 1994... not glamorous, whisteria house next door is a private dwelling but the identical building next to it was and still is divided into flats, i lived in what i believe was once a laundry space, basically a bedsit, had my own large bathroom, fairly decent sized kitchen, long hallway and a living room with double bed and wardrobe. My mum was mortified that i moved into "that hovel" lol i was only there for 3 months til i moved into a better flat!

Love that shadow. You'll have the Lord of the Manor after you in that get-up if you're not careful. Smile
