I can imagine this was a lovely little street at one time full of interesting independent shops. It's a shame, but I imagine every shopping street is like this now. I must say, not in a bad way (I hasten to add), but your outfit perfectly suits this shot. All comes together.

Yes wisbech has gradually declined more and more over the past 20 years, this high street only has one or two businesses that have been long term, one is a music centre and has been there for over 40 years now, the rest are mostly takeaways and euro-markets and internet cafes, yes we still have them here too

Its been going downhill for many years now, even christmas time this street looks terrible, with just bare coloured lightbulbs criss-crossing the street, i remember when they had big lanterns hanging down and far prettier ones than the ones we have now, their pathetic really. The business owners down that road pay for the lights now, so that says everything really.
