I've commented on this shot in answer to your question about the Tamron 28-75 Di. The lens would cope very well with this situation, it is excellent into the light. Very sharp at all aperetures, especially so from f/8 to f/22 with good colour saturation and contrast. For the money I think that this lens is one of the best. I have also used it a lot on portraits at the higher end of the zoom range, again with excellent results.
I like this image of yours, so have help the exposure together very well and the composition is just right. Click.
