Theres many pros and cons of being a student photographer
Pros
1. cheap software (student discount)
2. Every family member seems to dig out their old film cameras for you
3. Cheap film and free developing

Cons
1. People expect you to photograph weddings for FREE!
2. Some people expect too much you just start learning
3. You end up going through many rolls of film in the beginning
4. You go through many dark room paper boxes too

The reason i list these is because via my tutor and college i have been asked to photography two weddings, one by a father of the groom... asked if i could just speak direct to groom and bride as father just wants relax shots no set up ones and well personally isn't better to have both? Its also 80 miles away so i thought £150 including petrol wasn't to bad of a price he's doing his own printing just wants them on a disc. The other wedding is only few miles out of town, but this time its the maid of honour trying to book me for the wedding! So after a bit of confusing of the bride not having an email address of access to a computer to email me the details and what she wants, i eventually offered my phone number HOWEVER... they want it for free... which if yeah it was my first wedding that i was doing ect.. then yeah but this is like my 4th 5th can't remember Grin

Anyway on my course (photography one) I'm steaming ahead i edited the last of my digital photographs today (action sequence ones) so tomorrow and thursday i have a bit of annotating to do before writing my end of set evaluation not quite sure what I'm going to do for my final piece just yet, maybe ill pull the best photographs from each set that link and show how i moved from one set to another or something.

Just order myself a new phone the lumia 1020 suppose to be one of the best camera phones, so ill give it a go, i already have a lumia 800.

I learnt of a new type of memory card for dslr at work the other day due to having to refund a very old £20 camera as the memory cards are not available in the uk - Smart Media cards ?

Never heard of them before even my little photography knowledge filled brain was baffled

Blog soon!
