The Blog of an Alevel Photography Student Part 96!
8 May 2014 5:32PM Views : 1197 Unique : 807EEEK ! ONE WEEK LEFT OF MY EXAM! Right in the middle of my A2 photography exam at the moment, i have done 4 out of the 15 hours so far and i still need to mount the rest of my photographs and write my final essay so it should be do bad.
I decided to only do 3 hours of photoshop work because i felt my photographs didn't need that much editing. Then today i started my photographs mounting my photographs, to be honest for 8 15"x10" photographs from DC Colour labs it only cost me £12 and i got them 2 days later which i was pretty impressed with and the quality to rather than having pay £4 a photograph to print a collage on inkjet printers which are not as good. When i told my lecture i outsourced to print and how they where only 75p each and came two days later, she was like " well they wont be good quality for that price and arriving so fast" it was something like that she said/ hinted can't remember exact wording, just turned around and was like "Actually i posted on a photographic forum (on here) and asked other photographers who they use." She just shut up after that. Think she means no harm just she's more an art lecture than photography she's not like a photography teacher that knows the ins and outs of the industry and what is best.
Here are my photographs that I've mounted so far.
Sorry about the light glare i was in a rush to take a quick photo then move on to mounting another.
Right I've got to crack on with ICT Coursework because my deadlines tomorrow!
Blog Soon!

I also thought that until I had used DSCL
Initially I only had 2 small prints made as a test and the postage & packaging cost more than the prints ! !
Then , having been impressed with the quality and delivery times, I had about 15 18" x 12" and 2 20" x 16" done for an exhibition I had been invited to participate in.
