Officially turned into a geek today, as I went out to take pictures! Thin end of the wedge perhaps? On the up side it didnt go as Id hoped. This was taken at Whorlton on the River Tees near Barnard Castle. What was probably a beautiful access to the river, Whorlton Lido has now been closed and you have to take pictures from a distance, behind a five foot high barbed wire fence, so I was not able to get as close as would have liked.
15 second exposure, Canon 20D 17 40 L lens @40mm, ISO 100 Singh Ray Vari ND Filter at probably 8 stops
My first landscape, edited in CS 2 (thanks to Mark at Radiant Vista. Com for the tips) comments and critique invited as I quite like the results and will defiantly try more, looks great large,
Dam I must pay up and join
Thanks for looking
Alistair
