Speeding by History

By alistairfarrugia
Picture is a long exposure taken at Notabile Road, Mriehel, Malta. This is a road with Knights' period aqueducts (1610-1615) running alongside it. I took this shot to exhibit the contrast between the historical aqueducts and the modern road, signs and street-lighting.

Thanks. Didn't even have a tripod...used the neck strap and rested camera slightly upwards using it as support! Smile Was steady enough!

RESPECT - for no tripod!

Cheers mate.

Welcome. No tripod in fact - used the strap and placed camera flat on the floor with the lens angled slightly upwards thanks to the strap lodged underneath it. It's risky as the strap could easily fold down but it held long enough. Worked for me - also allowed me to get a different angle!
