Pest control

This fine Harris Hawk is used to chase pigeons away from listed buildings in Northampton town, I had a rather close encounter with him on one of my walk about's around the town. This was his first week on the job and seemed very happy in his work, no pigeons are harmed just moved along to roost elsewhere.

A fine image. It's interesting to see just how shallow the depth of field can be on these lenses wide open. Smile
