St Mary's Abbey ruins in York

By allan47
I was using a wide angle lens at 17mm on a Canon 5D Mark II, ISO 50, f11, 1/60th sec. I used a tripod and should have had a panoramic head. This is a stitch of 9 vertical frames, processed in Lightroom 4 and then modified in Photoshop CS6 using Nik Color Efex Pro 4, adding some tonal contrast. This is the site where the York Mystery Plays 2012 will be played from 2nd August and the ruins will be obscured by the largest stage in the country for a month.
