Barton Bank

By AlleyCatz
Another shot from the Barton bank side of the Humber bridge. It was very misty and freezing cold that April morning! It was quite eerie when I was stood under the bridge waiting for the mist to lift a little and hearing the traffic rattle overhead and no one else about.

Thanks for taking the time to look

Thanks Alley.

Great composition.
Nice foreground interest with the bridge dissapearing into the mist.

Good effect. It should get more attention I believe. But the thumb scould get overlooked.

What a great shot. I like the muted greens especially, and the sharp detail in the scrubby bush. The image is full of atmosphere. It wouldn't look out of place on the front cover of a thriller. I can just imagine reading: I shudder when I recall that foggy night. The night that cars just vanished into the mist, half-way across the bridge.

Nice one.

It certanly looks eerie, and I wouldn't have like to be there by myself.

The shot almost looks abstract. I like how you have composed the bridge and branches into the shot.
