Fungi & Friend

By AlleyCatz
Good evening everyone.....

Thanks so much for all your support & comments on my last shroom shot. I am still smiling my head off about it! Smile Smile

Here is a find from Messingham nature reserve.....We did not find many as the undergrowth is still quite dense and needs to die down a little more. We did find some well passed it Stinkhorns....and boy did they stink!!

The little spider on the fungi just zipwired into shot! (The line to the lefthand side of the the spiders zipwire....but the light only caught part of it....but I wnted to include it)

Thanks for stopping by

C&C welcome

If you peek large you will see Incy Wincy

Hope you have a good evening Smile

great colours and detail in this fungi, as well as the greenery too, i find the line on the left a little distracting, other than that and a tiny crop off the bottom, well taken, g

This is superb again, especially with the addition of the spider.

I thought about you on spotting duty, as I now have my very own spotter. I go for a walk either sat or sun afternoons with my son Thomas. He is autistic, aged 20 and 6' 5" tall and walks at warp speed. While in Rufford Park, near where he now lives, I spotted a mint looking shroom. No camera, but impressed I found it. He then went looking for me and found loads. He would never have the patience to wait for me to take them, but I was amused that he had taken the time to look.

Enough rambling now Smile

Thanks Sarah ...and Martin.

My son is nearly eleven and he has ASD & ADHD. My son does not have the patience either....he likes sometimes to look at the finished photograph....and thats about it!...Lol.

P.S You ramble as much as you like...I always do Wink

Stunning shot Alison, really fabulous shot... wonderful colour as well as pin sharp detail, and the spider is the "cherry on the cake" for me, especially the way he's caught the light

Love it!

I believe that Pete is considering renaming this site as eFUNGUSzine or EFZ for short. And it's all your fault you naughty woman.

Lol ... another nicely detailed shot, subtle with good light showing off the gill structures. The spider just adds that little extra interest.
