Defintely Not Sappy

By alpha788
After a frustrating few days trying to navigate, post and upload on the new forum, I decided to give it a rest untul the major bugs were worked out. Hopefully all is well now on this great site Smile Will now have some catching up to do!

This is a Red Breasted Sapsucker, a member of the Woodpecker family, and notwithstanding its name quite an attractive bird. I managed to get some decent shots of this elusive bird (at least for me) as it was either drilling new holes or dining on the new sap flowing frm the holes it had drilled.

Thanks for stopping by.
