    Definitely more concerned about loosing it's prey( moor hen) than me, I was far to far away. The crows kept dashing in and pulling on the wing and tail feathers to get the falcon to fly off which he did and so did they leaving the kill behind. The Peregrin returned several minutes later having completed several fly by's, picked up the moor hen and flew off to enjoy it's meal.

  • Photographing the Sunset

    Photographed sunsets here and numerous occasions. The rock is known locally as the Frog. Like the way you have presented this, nice colours and detail. My visit this year was a complete wash out due to the weather but I will return !

    6 spotted burnet moth for definite. Usually numerous at this time the year but definitely lower in number this year in my neck of the woods

    Nice shot Tony. Never seen one myself and unlikely to as this year seems very poor for booth numbers and types of butterflies around.
