  • Derbyshire Dipper

Derwent running through Calver is high and fast but it doesn't stop the resident Dipper's diving in for a feed. Amazing that they can cope with the force of the current!! Lovely image.

Lovely image, interested to know which 400 mm lens you used especially so as you used a 2x convertor. i have the Canon 400 f5.6 and have always been put off buying a convertor due to IQ drop off.

  • No you can't have it!

Definitely more concerned about loosing it's prey( moor hen) than me, I was far to far away. The crows kept dashing in and pulling on the wing and tail feathers to get the falcon to fly off which he did and so did they leaving the kill behind. The Peregrin returned several minutes later having completed several fly by's, picked up the moor hen and flew off to enjoy it's meal.

  • Photographing the Sunset

Photographed sunsets here and numerous occasions. The rock is known locally as the Frog. Like the way you have presented this, nice colours and detail. My visit this year was a complete wash out due to the weather but I will return !
