Thanks for your comment. I was pleased this one came out. A little of the story, I came upon this excursion, by accident, while on a family outing. I had first attempted to catch the engine coming up a long steep grade (which it seemed to do effortlessly at an incredible speed). I did think to increase the shutter speed to 1/500, but as it turned out it wasn't quite enough, producing fuzzy shots. I'm not sure the movement was all in the subject, as the ground was shaking and there is no doubt I was also trembling from the percussion of the exhaust. Lesson learned and a good reason to make another attempt at the next chance!

This shot was taken as the engine left the station at the top of the grade, moving in a more stately fashion.
