School Memories

A shut in exercise and an attemtp to "get to know" the Tamron 90mm on the K-2. The image was shot in RAW, processed in ACR with some final touches courtesy of Filter Forge. The pencil is 20's vintage while the chemistry textbook was my mother's from the '30's. Not sure how she wrote so small (not at trait I inheristed) but during the Depression I guess everything was used sparingly.

A very good close up. I like how the pen raises above the paper.

Thanks for your comment. The pencil is actually very slender (dimiensionallyl less than one of today's pencills) and was placed across the textbook aimed at the notations across the bottom of the page. Again, thank you!
